    I will be in English classes September 15-20 to complete the TN Promise and apply for TN colleges during College App Week. 
    We will be taking our students to the Southern Heritage Classic College Fair on Friday, September 26th.

    SENIOR ACT WILL BE TAKEN AT SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7TH!
    This fall, Our Youth Memphis is hosting Virtual College & Career Exploration Events for high school students (9th - 12th) to connect with colleges, universities, trade schools, and certification programs — all from the comfort of home.
    Here’s the exciting part: At each event, one Class of 2026 high school senior will win a $250 Our Youth Memphis Scholarship (1-time award). No GPA or ACT requirement — we just want students to pursue something after high school!
    📅 When: Third Saturday, August–November 2025
    💻 Where: Online via Teams (use of computer highly recommended, not phone/tablet)
    🎯 Who can attend: All high school students and their families (scholarship eligibility limited to Class of 2026 seniors)
    Whether it’s your friend, sibling, student, or neighbor, this could be the boost they need to start their next chapter.

    -You should begin working on a student resume with all of your awards, accomplishments, extracurricular activities, clubs, sports, community service,etc.
