My name is Carmen Weiser. I have been teaching middle and elementary school students for 30 years. This is my 13th year at Highland Oaks Middle School.  I have either been playing and/or coaching basketball or
softball for most of my life. I have coached at HOMS in the past.

When I am away from school, I enjoy playing and watching sports, spending time with my family and friends, and enjoying life to its fullest. My two nephews are my favorites! I have a yellow lab named Riggins, and a cat named  Mannie.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Ms. Weiser is the 6th grade special education Co-Teacher, who Co-Teaches Language Arts with Ms. Werner/  and Co-Teaches Mathematics with  Mrs. Porter. The classroom consists of one certified Core subject teacher and one certified Special Education teacher.

The students are accommodated through major modifications made based on their Individualized Educational Plan. I have always wanted to be a teacher and special education is a passion for me. I believe children no matter what can learn and can be productive in society.
