The mission of Southwind High School, a community committed to excellence in education, is to ensure that each student possesses the knowledge, skills, and character to create a successful and responsible life. We will do this by building safe, caring, challenging, and diverse learning environments, cultivating parental and community partnerships, and inspiring life-long learning.

The shared vision of Southwind High School, in partnership with the community, is to invest in our greatest resource, our students. We strive to value, challenge and educate all students to prepare them for post-secondary education and careers with the information and skills necessary to compete, achieve, and serve as leaders in a global economy as ethical and responsible citizens.
