Mrs. Vicki Houlihan

I am so honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Avon Lenox High School for the 2019-2020 school year! This will mark my sixth year in this role and my 30th year in education, 29 at this same remarkable school and 24 total years as a Special Education Teacher. I look forward to continuing my work in this district, striving to always put students first and endeavoring to create supportive and challenging learning environments while supporting teachers and staff as they implement high quality instruction on a daily basis. ALHS shines through in its mission of assisting our unique students achieve their maximum potential as they strive for effective independent living and functioning in a diverse society, and I am excited to help further these efforts.

I received my BS in Special Education from Memphis State University, my MS in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis, and my MedA in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I have also completed National Board Certification in the area of  Exceptional Needs Specialist for Early Childhood thorough young Adult.

I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing learning community as I work alongside an inspirational, dynamic leader as well as top-notch, motivational educators and I am looking forward to yet another terrific year ahead as we remain “One Team, One Pride”!
