Hello! My name is Elizabeth Vanderford, and I am proud to be a Germantown High School alumna. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English, with a concentration in Literature, from the University of Memphis, followed by a Master's degree in Teaching from the same institution. During my time at Germantown High School, I was a dedicated member of the Pom Squad, and I continued my passion for dance at the University of Memphis as a member of the National Award-Winning Pom Squad. I am especially proud to have been an original Grizz Girl for six years, representing the Memphis Grizzlies NBA Dance Team.

In my teaching career, I have passionately taught eighth-grade English for four years at Chickasaw Middle School and spent a year teaching ninth-grade English back at Germantown High School. Currently, I have been teaching tenth-grade English at Germantown High School for five years. Additionally, I am excited to serve as the head coach of the Dance Team, where I get to inspire and mentor young dancers. I am thrilled to continue making a positive impact on our community through education and dance!
