Hello, theatre enthusiasts! I'm Tangela Large, and I couldn't be more excited to join the vibrant community at Overton High School as your new theatre teacher. My passion lies in sparking curiosity and creativity in every student, helping you discover the magic that theatre brings to our world. At its core, theatre is about connection—both to ourselves and to others. In my classes, we won't just learn to perform; we'll dive into what makes a performance resonate and why theatre has been an essential part of human culture for centuries.

I’m thrilled to teach a diverse lineup of courses this year, including Theater Arts I, Theater Acting and Drama, Theater Arts I-IV Honors, and Theater III (Technical)/Theater IV. I’m also looking forward to utilizing my dedicated Planning Period to enhance our curriculum and support your learning experience. My goal is to create a space where you feel confident, curious, and ready to explore the endless possibilities of the stage and beyond.
