  • It is a pleasure to serve Crump Elementary School as the assistant principal this school year!  This is my ninth year in education and my fourth year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, I served in the district as a professional learning coach and as an 8th grade English teacher. I love working with students. It is important to note that I always wanted to be a teacher growing up.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Rust College, a Master of Arts in Education from Union University, and most recently a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership from Freed-Hardeman University. My greatest hope is to inspire students to become life-long learners as they navigate through life.

I have three wonderful sons and I hold them to the same standard that I do my students because I want them to succeed in school and in life. All students deserve to be nurtured, loved, and cared for. Therefore, it is my calling to be a positive example for my children and all the students I impact daily.

It is a privilege to help lead Crump Elementary School and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide quality and exceptional service to our students so that they are able to be the productive citizens our city so desperately needs. By doing so, I hope to inspire all stakeholders I encounter to seek the growth that will help them soar to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with everyone throughout the school year.
