Ford Road Families,

As we begin the 2023-24 school year, I have the privilege of serving as your scholar’s academic leader.  I feel honored to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, wonderful scholars, supportive parents, and all stakeholders. The elementary years are critical times of development for scholars.  I take pride in being at a school where every scholar can find an avenue for success and where every scholar discovers strengths within themselves and within others.

The success of our scholars will be built on the partnerships we have with our families, stakeholders, and with the Walker Homes community.  We are a true neighborhood school that educates the whole scholar.  We have a culture of high expectations for scholars and staff alike, and it is our sincere aspiration that every one of our scholars meet SCS goals of Destination 2025.  I am blessed with the opportunity to watch our scholars grow, learn, mature, and excel every single day through the arts and academics. I take pride in being a Ford Road Tiger.

Ford Road Elementary will implement the Wonders reading and Eureka math programs in grades K-5 to enhance instruction and implement rigor and relevance. Furthermore, our staff will continue to follow all safety measures in regard to COVID 19, as safety and security are paramount for Ford Road Elementary. We will venture into academic and social excellence together.

With my ambition of continuing the tradition of excellence here at Ford Road Elementary, I am committed to always exploring new ways to meet the needs of all scholars and to more effectively communicate with parents and community members.
