Assistant Principal

Andrew McFarland is originally from West Point, MS. He is married to Asia C. McFarland and has two children, Kynnedi and Adrew II. As he enters his 22nd year in education and 11th year as an Assistant Principal, Mr. McFarland's educational background includes a B.S. from the University of Mississippi, and a M.S. and Ed.S. from Union University. Throughout his career, he has eagerly served as an elementary and middle school teacher and principal. Mr. McFarland is a passionate advocate for equitable and inclusive learning experiences for all children, as well as the implementation of equitable family and community engagement practices. He is convinced that integrating resources, services, parents, and volunteers into schools creates a collaborative community of caring adults and educators who empower young people with the necessary tools to achieve academic success and thrive in life.
