Qualified students can transfer into Peabody's Optional Program when the applicants meet all of Peabody's entrance requirements and space is available.  Our program offers International Studies with Enriched Academics. Each grade level is emmersed in an in depth study of five different countries.

Students can apply for the Optional Choice Transfer beginning at 10:00 a.m. on January 26th.  Applications are processed on a first-come, first served basis, within priority categories, unless there are more applications than spaces available If applications exceed spaces, the first 80 percent are processed on a first come, first served basis, and 20 percent are chosen by lottery.

  • About Us

At Peabody, we are proud to be an International Studies school where students are encouraged to grow, explore, and thrive. Through rigorous instruction and hands-on, project-based learning, our students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed—while gaining a deep understanding of the world around them.

Our approach nurtures curiosity, creativity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Here’s what makes our school special:

    • Students participate in engaging, International Studies-themed projects, field trips, a mid-year carnival, and a year-end festival. They also have the opportunity to learn a world language, such as Russian.

    • Our students take pride in caring for our Learning Garden—planting, harvesting, and learning about sustainability firsthand.

    • We offer 15+ teacher-led after-school clubs designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and positive peer connections.

We believe in nurturing globally minded learners who are ready to make a difference—both in their communities and beyond.

  • General Choice Transfer

Students who live within Peaabody's school attendance zone do not have to submit a school choice application.  They can simply register when the early registration period opens for the new school year.

Students who live outside of Peabody's attendance zone can submit a General Choice Transfer Application beginning at 10:00 a.m. January 26, 2021.  Applications are based on available space in the school and are processed in the order they are received.
