Richland Elementary

Welcome to the Cool Cats! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my ninth year in education and my first year in second grade! I am passionate about creating a warm classroom community where students grow as learners and as people. I am from Memphis and have my Master's in Urban Education from Union University. My husband, Grant, and I have been married for nine years and have a three year old son named Kayden. We are members of Christ Methodist Church where Grant serves as the discipleship pastor. We love being outside, spending time together as a family, and visiting local Memphis coffee shops. I am a big fan of reading, walking, binging a great show (please let me know your thoughts on season 3 of The Bear), and Taylor Swift.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is building relationships with families! I love the Richland community and am so thankful to partner with you in your child's education. I hope to make this year a memorable one for you and your babies!
