Welcome to 5th grade Reading and Social Studies with Ms. Fields!

Hello! I'm Ms. Fields, and I'm thrilled to be your child's 5th-grade reading and social studies teacher this year. My passion lies in igniting a love for reading and helping students discover the joy of writing and comprehension. My approach focuses on creating an engaging, literacy-rich, supportive environment where every student feels confident exploring new texts and developing their reading skills. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading historical fiction, exploring nature on vacations, and spending time with family. I believe that fostering a love for reading goes beyond the classroom, and I strive to make every lesson educational, enjoyable, and relatable.
